Christopher Kirk grew up in the greater Philadelphia area where he discovered film photography in his high school years.  This helped provide the means to a whole new way of looking at the world around him. Everyday after school, Chris would lug his 35mm camera around while he skated with his friends. He has since received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The School Of Visual Arts in Manhattan, New York, where he focused on landscape photography. While residing in New York, Chris was involved with the National Parks Service for a photography preservation project at the historic home of Franklin D. Roosevelt.  He is currently living in the suburbs of Philadelphia where he photographs whatever happens to fall in front of his lens.
